To the OP, go play a Korean MMO. Aion or Tera when it comes out. They love skimpy clothes and in Aion's case clothing was more important that content. Don't bring that BS here.

I like some of these. There's definitely a lot of steam punk going on, although I think some of them are less adventurer and more "lady of the house"-like.

I think just taking existing pieces of gear and adding subtle to moderate changes to female models might be enough to accentuate the feminine appeal to them. Something similar to another Yoshida Archer image someone pointed out a few pages back, where the male was wearing loose-fitting trousers while the female was wearing tights and I think a shorter cape. I don't think it was particularly offensive, and it basically said "I'm a classy archer chick, and I look good doing it."

Hell, if you look back a few months to the Valentione's Day art(and even some official art that we've seen frequently), there's definitely a big element of cute and/or sexy attire for the ladies, but it all retains a very classy feel to it and as I've mentioned before, keeping it classy is probably the best way to maintain that sort of gilded, Romantic sense of adventure that the Final Fantasy series has been known to go for. Well, before they let Tetsuya Nomura wreck havoc over it, but that's a personal opinion.

And yeah, if people want fap material, you can find plenty of that(some of which FFXIV-based, no less!) all over the internet.

The term "Hentai" is being thrown around far too liberally here...Hentai refers to "Sexually explicit" imagery, usually referring to Japanese anime. "Sexually Explicit", while it is different for many countries and regions, it is not hentai if there are no naughty bits involved at all. No sane MMORPG developer would include sexually explicit content to the extent of hentai as part of the game. it would be shooting themselves in the foot, especially on an international release. It is why Doujinshi markets and .dat switchers are generally not accepted as official works by SE.

Thank you for explaining literally what was meant to be figurative. Why anyone would "like" the comment of someone who has completely missed the point is beyond me.

This game does not need any level of perversion, let alone the exaggerated form I alluded to.
