    You recall in error. Yoshida explicitly stated he will not be adding a client parser because he does not want it to lead to discriminatory actions against players. However, what he has stated is that he would make beginner-training style quests that will teach players to be mindful of their DPS and may, as a objective for said quest, require you to maintain or reach a certain DPS marker.
    wrong there with parsers, they wont add a official parsers, i.e one SE develop themselves, but addons will be developed by other sources like even the playerbase, its these ones that are fine, and they can develop addons that will display more information, you are just reading it wrong, and again your wrong about the TOS, you need a better reason then the person I quoted did.

    Even blizzard said the exact same statement regarding dps meters for WOW, they wont develop ones officially, but have no issue if the playerbase develops it.
