This might be true in wolves den with morale, but morale isn't fully explained so even then there's no reason not to. At the very least it's a buff that can soak one of those remove a buff pvp skills or one ilm punch

No its not true in WD either. The difference taken in damage between having Protect and no Protect, especially if there's a Full Swing up on you, is like night and day. If it didn't matter, Paladins wouldn't go out of their way just to Glory Slash it off.
Protect increases your def (and Mdef if WHM) by 15%, this works in lvl 30 and 40 wolves den
However, lvl 50 wolves den has Def and MDef replaced by morale and using protect does not increase morale
I could get some friends together to test it, but as it stands im fairly sure that the only use protect has is a buffer so the enemy paladin can't instantly glory slash your stoneskin off, thats about it
I've never actually questioned it though to be honest, so i might do some mythbusting when i have 8 people online
I've heard this as well but since Morale is ineffective in Frontlines, I'd say it's a safe bet that Protect does in fact work as intended for Frontlines.Protect increases your def (and Mdef if WHM) by 15%, this works in lvl 30 and 40 wolves den

Oh i know protect works in frontlines, all you need to do is look at your Def/Mdef on the character sheet, then cast protect and watch it go up
I'm just talking about the Wolves den comment and that ive never questioned the fact that protect doesnt work in lvl 50 wolves den
You should test before making claims like this. Its better to know what you're saying is true, when you're saying something is true.Protect increases your def (and Mdef if WHM) by 15%, this works in lvl 30 and 40 wolves den

It's logical that if there is no Def/Mdef, then there is no function of protect, so while i haven't tested it, no one has said otherwise until today
That's my train of thought anyway, I still use protect anyway so i don't have my stoneskin glory slashed instantly, but thats all i use it for
I play as Paladin in the Wolf Den. Defensive values does work in all PvP environment, it function exactly same way as in PvE. It is a delusion that it doesnt work in lvl50 WD for you because it is either:
1. You have morale and your taget doesnt have morale
2. Shell is not in game to make you think MDF doesnt work.
You're missing the point, Test before spreading information. It's logical that if there is no Def/Mdef, then there is no function of protect, so while i haven't tested it, no one has said otherwise until today

That is what is logical.
