That is why online interactions cannot be rated. Every game that has the ability to have online interactions with others tells you that. If it isnt somewhere on the box of FFXIV it needs to be >.>. Thus the parent of that 13 year old should probably play the game with that 13 year old and make sure that 13 year old doesn't do anything crazy. But then again it is up to that parent now.

And, laws that nation/state leaders come up with determine such things as marrying 13 year olds.... its not a moral issue, its a legal issue. Moral for the ones that want it i suppose.

Now we are getting into opinions about what is clearly right and clearly wrong. Homosexuals are allowed in the US military now because it was Clearly wrong to prohibit them, it just took a lot of work getting all the old fogeys to change their minds (or wait for them to die). If you want to be one of the guys that marries a 13 year old, just wait till all the world leaders that are against it to keel over, become one yourself, and change it. Its more legal than moral. I've got a better one, what about all the people who are against polygamy? It doesn't hurt you that one dude and 50 women all wanted to be married to each other, they should put this in game as well.

Too many concepts out of the norm, which is one man one woman, therefore it should be left out of game until all concepts are accepted.

In all honesty i dont care what people want to do with themselves but in this case its a freaking game, why bring politics and real life religious beliefs into it?

Too people who follow one or more different religions, it is clearly wrong for people of the same sex to be married, therefore YOU are as narrow minded as the rest of everybody else on the other side of the fence.

You haven't answered why marrying a 13 year old girl is a legal issue and not a moral issue. just saying that it is isn't an answer either.

I did, because the leaders said so. The world is going away from prohibiting same sex marriage now. No reason to continue to do so anywhere, even in the game world. When marriage comes, same sex marriage should come with it.

Also, the country way back when use to be pretty dominated by religion. Why do you think priests think its ok to molest little boys who confide in them? Who were the ones way back when who believed it was ok to marry 13 year olds? The people, who are dead. The world and the US doesn't believe in those things anymore, and laws are in place against them. Same sex marriage prohibitions are going away because the nation is breaking away from that domination, maybe at some point polygamy will go away too. The 10 commandments got taken off the walls of classrooms because the nation is breaking away from that domination. Things change. starting to allow same sex marriage in games is one of the changes that very well can and should happen.

Why would you want to impose your political ideas on people who very strongly disagree in a game where this idea is not even necessary anyway? Why do you need to be married in game in order to complete the dungeons coming out in 1.18 anyway?

You dont need to be married to do anything in the game. But people find other ways to play mmo's besides tackling the content. Whether it be killing all that stand before them, chatting it up in town, having a make-believe picnic out in Mor Dhona, its up to each individual player how they are going to play it.

I dont think there is as much of a conflict with chatting it up in town or having a picnic in mor dhona as there is with having same sex marriage.

The conflict is in your own mind. The minds of those that will create conflict because of it. People create conflict because others type in /say to have their conversations, because its more realistic. So you cant say there's no conflict with chatting it up in town.

It's not politics nor a religious belief it's human rights. It's been long proven that homosexuality is neither a disease nor is a matter of choice and that they're not 'special', not more than other individuals and that's a ground for treating them with same rights.
