I did, because the leaders said so. The world is going away from prohibiting same sex marriage now. No reason to continue to do so anywhere, even in the game world. When marriage comes, same sex marriage should come with it.

Also, the country way back when use to be pretty dominated by religion. Why do you think priests think its ok to molest little boys who confide in them? Who were the ones way back when who believed it was ok to marry 13 year olds? The people, who are dead. The world and the US doesn't believe in those things anymore, and laws are in place against them. Same sex marriage prohibitions are going away because the nation is breaking away from that domination, maybe at some point polygamy will go away too. The 10 commandments got taken off the walls of classrooms because the nation is breaking away from that domination. Things change. starting to allow same sex marriage in games is one of the changes that very well can and should happen.
