They are vanity pieces, all you have to do is kill one elite and you get enough allied seals for an i90 gear piece, anything between AF and i90 is vanity, retainer gear or company seal fodder.

Sounds about right. So no more "How do I gear "X job" from fresh fiddies. You hear that. It has all been answered here. You only run these dungeons to get VANITY gear and vanity gear...well apparrel ONRY. IDGAF if you think your job needs that piece to get the extra point of iLVL to get into that Duty you have been trying for, go HUNT sukka, I'm here to get FAB-U-LOUS!!

You are all too generous, but keep em, they are worthless to me. Might you instead spread your generosity to those that would actually need something that drops, that to you is trivial, and to them is needed?

If it were purely vanity as you claim it is, why does it have stats? Oh, because it was meant to be used by players that, crazy enough, need it in the interim of getting i90/i100 gear. Your impression implies that anyone can just stumble upon tomes and seals. Granted they have become much easier to obtain, but why would you waste seals on i90 gear when you can either use myth or spam farm first coil? Saving seals for oils / sands /alex seems more efficient than bowing 20 - 50 seals on i90.

They are vanity to you because they are below your current iLVL. They are not vanity to someone who needs them, they were not developed and designed as vanity pieces, period.

I'm glad to see you agree with me that they are much easier to obtain.

You can hardly call i80 an upgrade when it takes one or two days to get a full i90 set. Why not use seals on i90 gear? It's not like you can bypass the weekly soldiery cap for soldiery gear, so by the time you get full soldiery I'm sure you can spare a few seals for the minimum gear to do pretty much any content, or use both myth and seals to get there even faster.

I don't think you realize how stupidly easy it is to cap myth after they ruined the game with the hunt, also adding in the increased myth bonus from roulette and the fact that any newbie will get a first time bonus from the long list of lvl 50 dungeons they will do.
