Except a lot of time the large groups have lots of people scouting every zone at once because they can co-ordinate like that.Pretty ironic, don't you think?
Getting seals for doing nothing but wait in town while others spend hours scouting, just because you don't want to miss a single mark to get max. possible of seals asap? No wait, you're right. Damn selfish groups that kill the marks they were scouting for.
So what? Tough luck to them for not finding the mark first. Hell, not even tough luck. Sorry your 50 scouts are so totally incompetent they can't cover an A rank window before 2-8 people do so they need to reset-steal it and slander the people who did find it as 'selfish' and 'thieves' instead.

At the end of the day, OP, as does everyone on Excalibur, knew the group would be on their way.
That conscious decision to ignore the fact that those people would also be on their way and want Seals is what landed them in this situation. The end result eventually allowed more people to obtain Seals.

What's so hard to comprehend in that the amount of people necessary for the hunt is the 4-8-24 depending on the mark's rank and no one is forced to wait on anyone else. People's action are purely based on greed and selfishness.Except they did find it, clearly. Otherwise this thread wouldn't exist.

What's so hard to comprehend that even though they were designed for 4/8/24 people, that lots of other people want credit too?
If they were 4/8/24 people only, the system wouldn't be the way it was, the devs clearly said they made it this way so more people could get credit if they showed up.
You're right, they aren't forced to. But if you know people are coming, you should wait. It's a dick move not to.

They are not forced to wait even if people may come. Forcing people to wait because you want a share is being entitled. What's so hard to comprehend that even though they were designed for 4/8/24 people, that lots of other people want credit too?

If someone found a vein of gold near where you live and it would be on the news, would you be mad that he wouldn't have waited on you so you could have your share because you know, obviously people will show up if there is something to be obtained ?

Also your analogy is terrible, Gold is a finite resource, Allied Seals can be earned by everyone that is there and takes part.
If they had waited for the group to show up, everyone would had gotten credit, no harm would have come from doing this. This is where the difference lies.

the thing is you dont realise alot of ppl are tired of getting crap credit, me and my friends have waited, alowed pl to show up but instead of getin full cred we get crap, it dies so fast that we just cant get enoughdmg in, alot of ppl are tired of waitin for these hunts to spawn, alot of ppl are tired of having thier hunts steamrolled becuase of these large grpsWhat's so hard to comprehend that even though they were designed for 4/8/24 people, that lots of other people want credit too?

Then you clearly weren't putting in enough effort. That isn't the groups fault, that is your own. If the huge groups can all manage to get full or mostly full credit in every hunt (and the majority of them do) then that's all on you for not being able to manage it too. I can still manage to get full credit in parties of 4 at hunts, and on my tank I can get full credit solo at times.the thing is you dont realise alot of ppl are tired of getting crap credit, me and my friends have waited, alowed pl to show up but instead of getin full cred we get crap, it dies so fast that we just cant get enoughdmg in, alot of ppl are tired of waitin for these hunts to spawn, alot of ppl are tired of having thier hunts steamrolled becuase of these large grps
A lot of people in this thread need to learn this phrase.
When it's common practise on a server to do things a certain way, you should go along with that and if you choose not to, then don't cry about the repercussions because you ignored it.

Your just not getting the point here, the mechanics of these mobs are first come first serve.Except they did find it, clearly. Otherwise this thread wouldn't exist.

The idea that the entire zone be waited on for reasons of fair play is ludicrous with the marks "designed as they are".
Personally I always wait, however as soon as anyone pulls the gloves are off.
Nor do I simply stand in dragonhead and wait for a shout on a naul pop, I farm fleece and atm lvl mnk on fates and watch for it, if I don't get there in time, I just didn't get there on time, and raging about it by anyone for any reason is infantile.
These mobs are random location spawn, and by this reason alone they are not "everyones" mobs.
I am also "still" seeing that myth/soldiery "must" be removed from hunts, this "must not" be done, they can change the spawn and claim mechanics as well as raise rewards elsewhere but deleting rewards from hunts now will raise a storm of dissent that will drown out hunt complaints completely.
Giving players things in video games and then taking them away again always ends very badly.
I agree the rewards are too high without either currency or spawn/claim caps, and even that myth/soldiery/sands shouldn't have been part of them anyway, but you people asking for them to be removed now are just asking for a lot more rage about this issue than already exists.
