Always remember the Silver Rule:
"Treat others as they treat you!" ...or something like that.

Playing well would mean able to adjust. Otherwise its just overgearing. Personally I like fights that don't become face rolls like first coil was.

Your completely not understanding what I'm saying. You know the adapting is stopping DPS right? Putting my weapon away and standing there. In the middle of a boss fight I spin in circles or do a dance or sit down because I have to wait for the monster. Wow, awesome. That's so cool that I "adapted" to that. What a joy. Also you haven't even beaten second coil.

I like it more this way. it force you to adapt. it make fight more interesting. it not like you have to change your strat completely anyway, most of the time it just minor change in strat.
you do know that you don't have to stop DPS, right? depend on who you change you strat. our group use to stop DPS as well, but we find a way at the end to not having to stop DPSing the boss. I assume you talking about T7 if not let me know. the trick is to have your Kiter keep 1 fatty alive at all time (keep it in Petrification) until the new fatty spawn and boss use voice again. with this my group can just keep hitting the boss without having to stop DPSing. (well the kiter might have to goes a bit easy at the beginning but that about itYour completely not understanding what I'm saying. You know the adapting is stopping DPS right? I'm talking about in general. You aren't allowed to kill Ifrit EX. You aren't allowed to kill Leviathan EX. Basically, you can't use the highest gear given to you to the maximum because you get killed or it makes the fights more of a pain in the ass. Have you ever done a fight like Ifrit where you literally just stand around for like 5 minutes waiting to he able to kill it? Why waste my time. Just don't allow us to do that much damage if your going to force us to wait.
LOL...these people cleared T7 WITHOUT understanding completely the phase changes of the fight. Many groups clear T7 on sheer luck while having no idea they're supposed to hold or push dps at certain boss hp percentage. The fight is working exactly as intended and it is perfect as it is. Why? Because the groups that clear it knowing exactly what's going on will adjust dps accordingly when they have better gears hence they can oneshot it again and again. Besides, T7 is sooo easy as it is. If they didn't throw in something like phase changes, then it would be too easy, same thing with t8.
My advice: wear the same gears as you did when your group beat T7 easily. Better gears make T6 much easier since people could just do one honey and burn so having high dps is good.

with Ifrit ex, ya I agree with you he a pain when you overgear. for levi Ex that just pure LOL when we push too much DPS and cause the weird timing drive/jump and they start to falling off platform.
I still prefer having it the current way tho, more fun for me ;D

I agree, T7 the voice should be on a separate timer that takes priority over all other moves. It's silly the pushing phases messes with the timing as much as it does.

Yes OmegaFlare because making me take off my I115 weapon and I110 armor for some shit that I don't even have anymore makes a lot more sense then just having the monster mechanics change with the groups DPS instead of "breaking" their mechanics.
