I mean don't you see the extra content as a way of forcing you to specialize rather than an expectation that you're going to get every Supra? Also melding isn't that bad, especially if you can make a bunch of ilvl 55 accessories to convert your own materia.

I'm focusing mainly on Mining and Leatherworking. I'm planning on melding other sets later but right now I'm just trying to decide what crafters I ought to level up.

edit: I personally don't like the idea that I need to cap most crafters to truly specialize in one crafter. I mean what would you have said in response to a thread where I thought leveling all my crafts to 50 took too much time? Just because they add in something you can't grind out as fast as you want isn't a real reason to give up on it. I've grinded most of my mining and LTW gear and it was probably only around 1 million-ish. Give or take whatever I blew on stupid desynth buys (which were definitely stupid).
