Lightning Strikes a Third time ?

i see it more like a recap of the special event in the year, next years for the birthday they will probably do the same for the special event that was while the 2nd years.
it allows people that have miss in the years to have one last chance to get it.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. I don't understand all the uproar over exclusive items not being exclusive because this is most probably all there is to it. Next year they'll have completely different special events and if they do anything similar for the 2nd year anniversary it'll probably be a recap of those events not Lightning, etc. They won't have any reason to bring Lightning back at that point, and if they just keep doing the same events over and over it'll just get stale. They already have seasonal events for that.

And tbh Lightning is great and all, but if Yoshi, etc. pay attention to the forums they'd know that plenty of us want to see other FF characters brought to life in Eorzea, too. I would think they'd act on that rather than keep bringing the same content back over and over again. :3

I know I liked her too. I liked her design and her attitude. At least in XIII. I really liked how she was trying to fight back the curse she and the party had. I remember my favorite qoute she said I think it was in Dissdia. Might have been XIII but I can't remember. It was "I'll decide my fate!" I really liked that. Cause of the situation she was in she never gave up even when the party's situation was hopeless. She was really awesome to me in the original XIII. XIII-2 I didn't see much of her and XIII-3 she was mostly "Serah, Serah" but I still thought she was cool. She still managed to defy the large odds she had which I really liked. Also she looked cool and I like how she fought with her weapons. Sorry if my reason sucks. But I really do like Lightning.

I guess it was because she didn't take any crap back then. I did grow up around Cloud and stuff but Lightning stood out to me alot more than he did.

well everything about her, but one thing and that is how overly protective she was for her sister.
