Raising my item level...so I can enter D'horme Chimera in Coerthas FATE in DF

Hi...right now my item level is 48. All of my items are 50+ except my rings, earring, and necklace???it's dragging my item level down.

Where can I get these items? Dungeons seem to only drop head, body, legs...or am I mistaken? Thanks.

You can get Darklight rings/ears/necks/arms out of Lost City of Adampor, Halitali HM and Brayflox HM. Push for the extra chests in Bray and Halitali. In Bray there's an ear/arm at the top of the tower after the first boss (most people ninja this one anyway) and a neck/ring in the chest after the second boss, to the left through where the Couerl pats. In Halitali there's a chest where the gold bear on the left comes out (second set of bears) that has a neck/ear and after the second boss, if you go down rather than up, is a chest near 2 basies that is a wrist/ring.

He won't be able to go into those dungeons as ilvl 48 though.

Your best bet atm is to visit the market boards. Seeing as you're an archer, go for some spinel accessories. They're ilvl 48 and 49, so as long as you have some decent gear on your left hand side (say i55 or even 60), you should be able to gear up better.

You're at the phase where gearing up and getting into duties is hard, but persevere. It can only improve as you get more gear.

EDIT: Actually, in hindsight, you can unlock Pharos Sirius, Copperbell Mines (Hard) and Haukke Manor (Hard). They require a ilvl48 average to enter, so you're set to go in. These dungeons drop ilvl60 accessories in extra chests, so try and get them.

If he cant do Chimera which is 52, he wont be able to do those dungeons as they are 55. He can do Wanderer's Palace, Amdapor keep, PHaros Sirius, Copperbell Mines HM and Haukke Manor HM for gear drops.

edit: OP do those dungeons, try to get gear drops but if you don't use the myth/soldiery to buy 90/100 gear.

Yeah, been a while since I was at that point, forgot the iLvl read on those, but yeah. Pharos, Copperbell HM and Haukke HM drop this stuff pretty regularly, Especially Haukke HM, I always see accessory drops in there.

IMO it was the best method, and I sugget try to save the gils and not buy this piece as you willl replace it shortly. ^^;

Don't forget to unlock Hunts at your Grand Company.

You can buy myth gear with Allied Seals. While hunting Elite marks is the fastest way to get Myth armor, the 7 you get from daily bills is enough to get 1-2 pieces a week.

If you know a goldsmith or a leatherworker, it might behoove you to ask them for some accessories. Currently i55, i70, and i90 accessories can be made, though most people will -probably- ask you to provide the tomestone materials (9x animal fat or peacock ore for i70, 3x emery/raziqsand for i90). I'd also strongly recommend asking any carpenter you might know to craft you a Sarnga bow (they may ask for 9x hardened sap to create the treated spruce lumber needed to make it). It's an excellent bow and it served me very well as a bard myself until I finally got my Zenith.
