this part is true
lol I did ifrit/garuda (HM) in party where nobody wore a single piece of gear >70, most half 70 half AF/crafted accessories/AK drop (i60).They should not be able to enter the queue for Expert, HM Primals or CT until they have at least i70 in every slot.
when I did titan1st I still wore some i60gear, a single i90, people had at best 2 i90 and of course it was in 2.0 = no echo buff.
Did CT(1) with my whm where i never spent a single tomestones except the relic weapon materials (AK/WP drop+CT body) never died outside of full wipe, healed main tank on Behe ....
=> you don't need to be ilvl70 for those fights.
Also someone in full i70 is inferior to someone with i100weapon/body/leg and crafted gear in every other slot so it score i70 because every piece of gear have the same weight in ilvl calculation but not the same stat weight.
suck less or dont try to speed run?You can't even tank the Expert dungeons like Hullbreaker and Stone Vigil HM unless you already have i80 gear; this gear progression makes absolutely no sense at all.
also what doesn't make sense in dungeons released when ilvl100 gear have been buyable for over 3month needing higher ilvl gear than dungeon/raid released when max ilvl was 90?
agree that people shouldn't be able to cheat the system and equip a set lower than the required ilvlPS: If someone's item level drops below the min. required for the encounter the game should popup and tell them they need to put their real gear back on in one minute or be instant ejected. Don't force players to police your bad game design for you. We didn't design the spirit bonding system, you did so please police it yourself using game design such as auto-kicking players out of a Duty if their items drop below a certain threshold -- and penalize them for it, too. Don't let them queue for 30 minutes as a penalty for wasting every other player's time.
