Average item level calculation needs fixing, as does lv50 gear progression

In my opinion; This is only a real problem in one dungeon in my opinion.

Copperbell Mines Hard Mode

This dungeon is nearly impossible because the last boss is a complete DPS check and if you get sucked in by the worm once in the minimum gear, you wipe. DPS have to be on-point and the healer cannot slack, as well as take the crystals to the worm to ensure you do not wipe to running out of them. Had it happen to me on PLD a few weeks ago it was insane.

Sounds like you're getting a DPS to handle rocks. That makes the fight much tougher than it should be.

ilvl needs to be weighted so that accessories contribute less to the average than clothing, at the very least.

since we can repair in dungeon now, I suggest just lock everyone's gear in all contents. ^^;
It would be a real quick implementable resolution for this issue.
So everyone still can equip anything they like, but they cannot change their gear in the content so their iLV is locked.

you get AF then right to the lv90 myth gear. within a week should be ilvl90.

This was before PF and people shouted in Mordohna for parties. If you weren't full DL or close to it, they didn't want you.

There were groups like that, sure, but I'd like to think they were the exception, not the rule. At least on Balmung, I never had issues finding a group in about half DL half Toxotes.
