lol being a CON with so many spells, i just cant find the free slots for all the spells i feel i need at my disposal.

Playing solo / duo alot you want the most of what u got at your convinience, but isnt possible with the current limited AP & slot system.

I've had to use macro's to switch between various elemental nukes to fit all the debuffs, heals & nukes.

So in the end why would a r50 con or thm even bother equipping a low level raise in the first place?
Especially during spell switches when a cooldown effect will slow it down after equipping it even more?

If I remember well I read that they want to make that a class will be able to use every ability it learns, after class re-balancing has been performed.

So yeah, if they do that and provide a limited number of slots and AP points for cross-class abilities, plus they make that raise costs like 5 or more AP points, it will prevent everyone to just carry "raise" by default at any level.

So can i assume everyone is OK with a final verdict of increased AP cost for low level raise?

Just want more important topics to surface!! Thank you!

Aye, im really looking forward to the "new" class upgrades or w/e people wanna call it.

Also hoping for some properly made spells, like reraise, a longer lasting bind & gravity lol
Not to mention real nukes, not some coblyn farts for AM spells.

Well I don't think you should penalize native abilities, but I think increasing AP cost for "cross-classing" would be a good idea. That being said, as pointed out before, they may get rid of the AP system for native abilities.

This is the proper way to go.

Like others have been saying, having access is not the same thing as easy. Everything should have an opportunity cost, one way or another.

You can solo, and spend your AP on skills that will help you solo and gain XP. The cost is that if you die you'll have to haul yourself back from the Aetheryte.

You can party, and spend some of your AP on raise abilities that will benefit downed party members. The cost is whatever skill that got replaced by that raise ability.

The problem with this idea is we're all gonna need to have raise on our bars one raise not gonna be enough (if they keep raids with time limits) it will take 25 mins to recover from a pt wipe

Simple solution to that: Don't wipe.

If you wipe it means you screwed up. Deal with it.
