    TBH I VERY much like the new dungeons.

    Come on, yes no speed runs but these dungeons are already MUCH shorter (if you don't count speed runs), especially Tam-tara. In turn they have hard hitting mobs. Some of the single packs can have 4-5 mobs and they hit pretty hard, you might need to pop a CD or two and your healer needs to be on his balls. No longer your WHM SS+Regen and DPS/AFK for the rest of that pack/pull. For new players or players learning a new class, I think this is pretty a good starting ground.

    Everyone is still free to try and complete the dungeons as quickly as possible (ie. speed run).

    It's honestly awful. The new dungeons are absolutely full them. Some of the points are so bad that there's single packs of trash separating the barriers.

    I appreciate that SE doesn't want to make speed runs the only method of doing dungeons, but the sheer number of them in the new dungeons is getting ridiculous.

    Stopping one extreme with the other is a terrible idea.

    forced stops or no... I still want to do it as quickly as possible and if you are bad/poorly geared I will still leave at the start. (No Q time anyway for me, and I can go do something else for 30 minutes or longer easily)
    Need a mechanic to motivate people to perform as best they can and to play on best geared classes instead. (Time attacks / leaderboards / ect)

    I see crybabying over having to spend an extra few minutes actually playing the game rather than rushing through it. I'm afraid I have no sympathy whatsoever.

    Now that I've finally gotten to experience Tam Tara at least (just moved, had to wait for internet, missed patch day), I see absolutely nothing wrong with the new dungeon. Gonna try Stone Vigil and Hullbreaker tonight, but from the sound of it, it looks like they did things just right. And since I never cared for speed running (because I don't NEED tomes that badly), I see nothing wrong at all

    The OP must have really bad DPS or something, the new dungeons are only slow if the DPS are slow. Most tanks probably would have hated speed runs anyway, because too many people running as healers let them go down to less than 5% HP before casting a heal because the healer has no MP for a heal since they were holy spamming.

    Majority of JP players hated SP Brayflox anyway, everytime I got a JP tank in Brayflox they forcefully went slowly. I think it was more complaints on the JP forums than any English forum.

    You can still clear new dungeons quite fast - around 15 minutes in tam-tara is still quite viable. just need the deeps. and in many places you can still do considerable pulls. Furthermore you can cap your soldiery in like 2 days now without even putting your effort in it and still flox-sr if you need to gather myth. although now you can easy get 1.5k myth in 2 days just by doing roulettes and an ocasional ST. so i don't see the problem. The new dungeons are fairly strong ( could have done more - i think a system of extreme dungeons that you can unlock after doing hard mode dungeons (but whith no great additional rewards) would be a fun thing - something like savage coil

    I'm a massive lore nerd so I can only welcome this change. I was so psyched the first time I did WP as a Scholar because, well duh, only to be rushed through it and not be given the time to enjoy it. Speed runs are all well and good but to be honest, if you only want to rush through the content without taking in any of the fun stuff that makes a dungeon interesting (new mechanics, story and the camaraderie of playing with a group) then perhaps you shouldn't be playing an MMORPG...
