    Forced stops in new 4 man dungeons

    Every single new 4 man dungeon in 2.4 has these now.
    From barriers not going down until you kill trash mobs beside it. Coffins that need to be activated before popping mobs or opening chests to pop mimics, THEN picking up an item. To large drops that force healing up before continuing.
    It's honestly awful. The new dungeons are absolutely full them. Some of the points are so bad that there's single packs of trash separating the barriers.

    I appreciate that SE doesn't want to make speed runs the only method of doing dungeons, but the sheer number of them in the new dungeons is getting ridiculous.

    Stopping one extreme with the other is a terrible idea.

    Eh, people still try. Last Tam-tara HM run I had done, someone attempted to SR it. Couldn't hit a darn thing as a Monk, because of all of the collected aoe's. It was pretty amusing. xD

    I'm enjoying the new tam tara hm very much, mostly because of the athmosphere but also because of the "no speedrun part"!

    normally its not me, healer, or dps to decide if we make a speedrun or not, its the tank. so now i am not forced into speedruns by others, i can enjoy the game much more. for those who really want tomes so badly i recommend to build a speedrun group.

    This. Unless you went in with a full party of your own, running expert roulette previous to this patch meant a speed run whether you liked it or not. I'm already seeing that same mentality in the new dungeons, too. Did HI with a healer and dragoon from my FC, pugged the tank, and the first thing he says is "Doing big pulls." I don't burn myself out on dungeons to the point where I want to speed run them, so I don't mind these new ones having stops.

    One was a player choice, the other was a developer choosing for you. There is a big difference.
    In Brayflox and the older dungeons the devs weren't forcing you to one play style or another.
