Possible Solution to stop Hunt Abusers

I don't participate but this system is broken, brings out the worst in people, and interest in raiding is at an all time low.
Before you accuse someone of "Being forced into the hunt" Please know what you're talking about.

That's as maybe, but do you see the point he's making? The fact that the hunt system is broken and being abused means this "entirely optional side system" is negatively impacting other parts of the game. It's difficult to ignore it when stuff like that is happening.

Yeah, that's a fair point. But SCoB (And first coil when it was the only coil) can bring out a lot of bad in people too. SE can't fix people.

Now hunts could definitely use some adjustments on the technical side to encourage community building and such, but "I don't like system X so remove it" (and "ban everyone successful at it" and so on) isn't productive to that conversation. OP, on the other hand, had an actual idea which may help with one of the system's flaws.
