Any plans for Skillchains?

They did say in a interview they are working on a combo system where you can do it solo, pretty sure this can also be applied to the party combo (skillchain like FFXI) I don't even use the battle regimen after trying couple times... is it even worth it?

Sorry but I play duo with my wife mainly and we tried battle regimen many times in the past and with that stupid queue system where you can't do shit while waiting for other (my wife) to choose the action and I'm getting hit and we don't even really see what happened. I read up on it in the past where doing different combination adds effect to the mobs but I haven't really seen much difference with or without it; reason why I am asking is it even worth it? And I have been playing since alpha, c/o beta (solo mostly) and started playing on CE edition with wife.
