Why is glamour locked in frontlines?

I thought the only reason why it was locked in PVP was due to the possibility to trick your enemy (e.g. lallafel PLD, Roegadyn WHM) but in Frontlines enemies are no longer Fresh Meat but "Paladins", "Warriors", "Scholars" etc.

Why is the glamour locked then? Any other reasons I'm missing?

I don't get your point. If a PLD with the name "PALADIN" on the top of his head is dressed in Bikini I'm still not going to focus her? or him...

Well they don't call it military deception for no reason..it's like a bunch of well trained soldiers dressed up as simple merchants..and why would you attack any of the three if they're coming after you. Running away would be the logical thing here.

The person is basically saying how people attack others based on how their gear looks. Someone that looks like an ilvl100 is more of a threat than someone that appears to be an ilvl55 or something. Or attack the one that looks weakest first..which would be the ilvl55.

The answer to that question/riddle was "I don't know", but a common thing in PvP in games such as this is that one can visually identify the relative power of an opponent based on sight. Someone coming at me in high allagan gear, I know he has some experience under his belt, but I see a guy in the highest PvP gear, I know he has more.

You can throw out military deception and all that fun stuff to justify why you should and I agree. That said, the above is generally the reason why vanity anything tends to be shut down during PvP.

Hilariously enough, you can't even use the highest PvP gear in frontlines because you can't use glamour and the PvP gear itself is worthless because morale doesn't work in frontlines. There is no good reason anyone can give for why glamour isn't allowed in PvP.

They are still going to be synced to lvl 80? What does it matter if someone's wearing CT gear or Soldiery Gear? The person who's wearing CT gear might be attempting brutal SCoB and be a flawless healer, if you want to deceive you are going to deceive anyway???
