Most disappointing "feature" of the patch for me. I was looking forward to some properly challenging open world content but again they are just zerg fests where the monsters die in 5 seconds or less.

The S ranks are no joke. Just as a heads up. 50 people can down it in like 5 minutes, sure, but with the amount of shit they do. They'll mess your day up real good. Missing out on 50 Allied Seals, 200 Myth and 40 Soldiery cause you scrubed your way into a massive AoE and got obliterated isn't fun.
Even some of the A ranks can mess you up. Looking at the Central Shroud A rank, the Costa/Wineport A rank, and the Central Than A rank (20,000 needles makes for a sad sad time).
I haven't seen the A Ranks you mentioned, but of the ones I have seen the only one that poised any sort of a "challenge" was the Mor Dhona one that sleeps you for 60s in the big AOE.
Of the S ranks I've been too, Garlok lasted about 90 seconds and Croakadile lasted under a minute, when there's 50 players at a boss, even the 1m+ HP they have got is not enough, unfortunately the main argument is "well once it's calmed down it's fine" but will it calm down? It's currently the only way to farm Sands of Time for soldiery upgrades, maybe once CT is given Sands of Time but until then... It's just gonna be a horrible experience. Maybe if the dailies gave a respectable amount of Seals it would be okay too as that would give another way to get Oil/Sands, but the dailies give a patchetic amouint, if you wanted a Sand from just doing the dailies it would take like 3-4months for one.
People liked them to fates but they are somehow implemented worse than fates as they don't appear to scale at all, atleast fates scale based on the number of people at the last version of that FATE... These... Nope.
edit: Btw never mentioned what a TERRIBLE idea it was to give everyone the same Weekly Elite. I mean seriously who came up with that
edit 2: As a suggestion "fix" for example, maybe it's a limit of the game, why can't the enemies have an aura or something that increases its defense by the number of players near it? That why it scales and doesn't die in 30s when there's 100 ppl

Because they are not FATE related. They are wild roaming open world enemies like the cactuars outside of Ul'dah or the Garleans in the castrums. This is the reason why they don't scale.
I wish open-world enemies would scale. The more people farm a monstertype, the stronger it should get. As example raptors. If 30 people are farming raptors in a zone, the raptors would be stronger as if only 1 person farm them. Maybe also forced level-synch the moment you start the battle.
Hopefully SE fix it before a army of Rogues bring chaos to La Noscea ^^

Yeah, it's just an additional badge farm. It's a giant zergfest where you sit in a linkshell all day and warp around non-stop. Even doing it "right" is awful.
