    It's basically a fate without the fate zone and marker and its random spawn. What's even worse is that if its not the marked hunt that you specifically need you will still be credited with tomes which is ludicrous as the ones I've been doing so far have been giving me 80 myths and 20 solidery, which is insane for a 1 minute fight. I think those are the lower tier ones too so I cn't imagine how much you get for S ranked ones.

    Also if you think that people will think this trend will die down, it won't. Not when there are hardcore players and insanely high allied costs for items and gear that will just be for vanity. Unless there is a patch this issue will only get worse as more people become used to farming it.

    this is no good way make it so 5 seconds after being spotted it dies elite mark?? So yea fed up of never being able to get it even when i been sat there all day. God i need something better to do lol

    In short, it is not a FATE, but an open world enemy with random spawn. (you forgot the timer)
    If you think it is like FATE because the claim system, then I need to say that the claim system is not a FATE mechanic. It is a open-world mechanic.
    Test it out. Go to a low level area or where enemies are for animus books, look if you find a player killing stuff for his quest (outsie of a FATE) and try to kill the enemy he is currently fighting.

    I think I'd be best if only those with the Elite Bill can actually attack the Weekly Elite Mark and for the rest of the Marks to not be more difficult (they can stay at the difficulty they're at now) but at least have much more HP.

    Tired of someone in the LS shouting for a Mark, and I get there and its either dead or just about...worst is WATCHING it die.

    The random spawn thing is nice, but Naul for example spawned at like where Tower of Power spawns in Coerthas which is NO WHERE NEAR where The Hunter-Scholar said it tends to be at. Along the lines of being known to terrorize the Steel Vigil with Svara and didn't even spawn near there...stupid.

    an S spawned a lil while ago in Outer La Nosc, in a tunnel in the Kobold Stronghold.
    Well, I guess it had decent enough hp, kinda turned into an Odin zerg, from 47 to dead was maybe 30-45 seconds.
    Problem is that most of the time, like Odin and Behemoth, IT WOULD NOT RENDER. It could not be targeted, and basically most people got 5 marks cause THEY COULDNT SEE THE DAMN MOB.

    I swear, its one problem after another with these Hunts.

    All Elite Hunt Marks NEED more base HP, AND dynamic scaling.
    And NONE of the A or S marks should EVER be in a tunnel or small enclosed area where they can cause rendering glitches.

    The problem is that they've made all of the 'Elite' hunts only rank B hunts and then they send the whole server after them. Rank Bs are appropriate to take on in small groups or solo since they're weak (and it's good to have these available). However, for the weekly 'Elite' hunts, they should have either made them into rank S hunts (or at least rank A), so that they don't just die instantly or they should have given everyone different hunts (like they do for the daily hunts) so not everybody is attacking the same ones.

    Join a hunt LS immediately. Naul spawns every 30-45 minutes give or take so just keep an eye out in the Hunt LS' that you are a part of and linger around Coerthas.

    I assure you. Once you join a Link Shell (or two) that is dedicated to hunting marks, you just join a party, do your own thing, and when they are called out you warp and kill them.

    I have like 500 some odd seals just from about 6 hours of on and off hunting because of the spawn rates and the amount of B and A ranks that I down. A lot of people in my parties have also received the Bloody Logs (poor translation I think ) from some of the hunts too and have already (in two days) BOUGHT their weathered weapon AND used a sand of time on it.

    This business is easy with the right groups.

    Most disappointing "feature" of the patch for me. I was looking forward to some properly challenging open world content but again they are just zerg fests where the monsters die in 5 seconds or less.

    I think you underestimate how fast Naul dies. Even in the middle of the night, I had someone call out that it spawned some 15s travel time away from me. Someone attacked it, so everyone there attacked it. I got there just in time to hit it twice and get 1 seal for the kill and no credit for the weekly kill. It's a little silly and not worth doing right now. Your time is better spent hunting every other NM in the world than bothering with the weekly 'Elite' kill.

    Same with the daily Fate elites. Those are just stupid (i'm looking at you Seps...) to wait around so you can get 2 seals.

    The S ranks are no joke. Just as a heads up. 50 people can down it in like 5 minutes, sure, but with the amount of shit they do. They'll mess your day up real good. Missing out on 50 Allied Seals, 200 Myth and 40 Soldiery cause you scrubed your way into a massive AoE and got obliterated isn't fun.

    Even some of the A ranks can mess you up. Looking at the Central Shroud A rank, the Costa/Wineport A rank, and the Central Than A rank (20,000 needles makes for a sad sad time).
