Hunts are likely to get worse. Because after people are done with the other contents of the Patch. They can camp hunts all day. Sands of Time also are a big incentive.

So we've thrown around the idea of FATE-like HP scaling, as well as Dynamic HP scaling, though we have no clue if the dev team is listening.
Still, I want to ask... In the event that they, for some reason, are unable to allow for decent HP scaling... Would it be SO bad if they made these were made into a "roaming instance" - like Chimera.
So instead of being a single mob, it would be a somewhat roaming instanced zone, an NM surrounded by the zone-line circle. And would spawn at certain times, and be up for a certain amount of time... Essentially an Unspoiled Node version of a Boss.
Get a group of 8, go in, and kill it.
This is what I think most people wanted. Not open world "nobody will get credit because everybody is hitting it" type deals.

something that is supposed to be fun.....but ppl are raging at each other for pulling / killing , if a NM spawns no1 says a word on zone chat , and even LS that formed with the idea of hunting NMs are now death silent.

I know ppl have been complaining about all the tedious stuff like this such as atma farming and book grinding, but this seems worthy of actually fixing. At least with those other things you are actually playing the game. With this Weekly Elie hunt you are just WAITING to play the game. We already wait to play the game while at work or school. SE used to have that message at login in 1.0, to not forget our family, work, studies etc... But seems like they are all too comfortable with us doing so now. Yoshi once said that the name of the game isn't chocobo mountain climbing adventure and that's why he was designing 2.0 as an instances game to make the most of people's time and now the game is plagued by RNG and having to wait wait wait to do content like these hunts and waiting for FATEs.



Several things could/should change:
When we complete the quest to unlock hunts, we unlock an ability called "Track". When used, either nothing happens, or you will start to see footprints (the the mark is a land creature) or some other trail if it's an air creature (feathers for birds, tears for ahrimans, embers for bombs, etc). We can then be actual hunters to follow this trail. We can lose it if they go over rivers so we'll have to search for the trail again, like actual trackers. Then where the trail ends is where the mob will spawn. Also, you can only pick up the trail 5-10 minutes before the mob spawns, if you use it earlier, you won't be able to find the trail.
I quite enjoy these hunts. I even went randomly wandering to find one, found hellhand or something like that. Must have been an a rank. And just sat and solo' him till 2 of my fc mates came and we killed it. Lol.
