Sorry but NA players have their own NA servers to use. EU players have every right to have their servers in the EU.

This was obviously a business decision by SE. I'm sure they ran the costs of the servers and upkeep then ran projected profit/loss for going through and not going through with it, I am sure they did the same thing with Europe, and it just so happened that North America was worth the cost, and Europe wasn't.
Oh. It's this thread again.
People blame the servers instead of their own connection or their own inability to play to the standard that each instance requires.
There is no problem with connecting from Europe to the servers in Montreal. Each time it has been brought up it has been shot down as a null issue. 100-200ms Latency is not a problem. Do I have to get my TraceRT screenshot out again?

Servers being in Canada isn't the problem. The problem is either internet/routing/players unwilling to admit they can't do the fight.
I played on Mandragora server and beaten all primals - gotten all primal weapons using DF.
I live in the US, JP servers are 6000 MILES from me.
I am european player on "european" server and the only issues I have on ex primals are caused by lack of sleep or lack of skill. I understand that PS3 players have an issue of playing on console that truly is too lame for xiv and affect their gameplay directly but blaming servers sounds like crappy net or player to me.
