Okay, so we have no new mobs, no new areas, and no new gear. Just reskins.lol just because the walls and floor of a dungeon were already designed, someone has to put something inside........
Also they have been reworking the battle, autoattack and enmity systems.
I think that should answer your question as to "what have they been doing".
(Rome wasn't built in a day, all good things to those that wait, if all else fails wait and come back for re-launch).
And I'm the only one wondering where all the labour went.
No, I am surprised like you, that they didnt clean up their own UI. I have mine situated so it works out nicely.I'm not playing at 800x600. But if SE is content to play at whatever resolution we looked at in the video, and think that's fine (mine isn't so bad as that), then there's a problem.
It was a total mess and looked really amateur.
Are we actually having this debate? You thought that was fine?
new content, cutscene, right now was all I wanted to see. Just need to check the difficulty of the dungeon by ourselves to complain or not. The video shows enough (for once) for me to be willing to spend again some time playing the game and that's all I asked for!
I don't want to wait another year for anything, no. Some proof that this game is not dying would be good though.so what difference does it make that its been in the game since release? if no one ever datamined, then you wouldn't have known that.
and how do u know that they aren't working on other content thats not in the .dats yet?
and you said nothing was created from scratch...guess what, it was. way before this game was released, it was created from scratch. if u wanna wait another year for them to design and create a dungeon from scratch, just because, then i dont know what to tell u.
This. If that's the "default" arrangement for the UI, then SE needs to take a second look at it. It did look pretty bad, with a lot of elements overlapping each other (the pop-up text for abilities covering the action bar was the most noticeable).
Gift, you seem to question what the dev's are working on. I think its pretty obvious as the developers try to get to the core of what is wrong they are continually finding more problems. Yoshi seems to be confident these next 3 patches will resolve most of the system limitations right from the most basic transaction level interactions.
When they say that cross world party search and linkshell actions are something that will take time because of system limitations they are talking about these issues at the core of the game. Once the core issues are solved patches and fixes should come in at a much faster pace.
I think we will all be pleasantly surprised with 1.18,1.19, and 1.20. And I fully intend to re-invite all my LS mates who have since taken a break from the game this fall. If SE can deliver what was stated in the last few producer letters by the end of summer (or end of sept.) then I think the game will be in a great shape to start prepping for a firm PS3 launch date.
Lolz, why would we listen or here out a Rank 1 PUG? :P
- Yes its a New Area ( Just because it's "Dat mined" doesn't make it old and its the Dat miners fault for pursuing that)
- Yes there will be new gear.. Why would they show off new gear in the Video.. and they showed New Gear that will drop from Dungeons in one of the Lodestone Post ( Check again)
- No, there not new Mobs.. however they have different skin Color like the Eye was all red ( because its really a self-destructing Bomb!), and who's to say there won't be new mobs that they havent shown yet?
So, please spare us your Despair untill the patch comes out and knowing all your facts.

That's the motto around here right?
I don't mind that they implemented the as-yet-unused area, but I do mind that we have little proof in the way of tight development. I mean, they used lots of preexisting mobs, so what? Big deal, right? What do you really expect? But it is a big deal when there are, like, no new ones either.- Yes its a New Area ( Just because it's "Dat mined" doesn't make it old and its the Dat miners fault for pursuing that)
