I think Bahamut tempered Louisoux and Nael. As for other speculation I think he will reviev and temper Noraxia (unless there is some other more important posthumous character) and Gaius to guard the last of them...

Wait how many coils are there and how many have been "fixed" when the Louisoux revelation happened?

From what I remember of reading the quest text, it's actually the opposite. Bahamut recreated Van Darnus, who ended up as a female, but Bahamut didn't care enough to fix it. He was just as happy with a female Darnus as a male Darnus, as long as he had a Darnus to serve him. Darnus being female was, at least for Bahamut, accidental and without consequence.

It might be more accurate to assert that Bahamut took the tempered soul of van Darnus and placed it in an aetherial recreation of van Darnus' body, created in the image on van Darnus' soul.

As for Lou, it's not clear if he actually died. During the fade-to-white, is it possible that was a tempering-attack rather than a killer? "You almost managed to seal me. That does it - you're mine!"
(Could Bahamut have rebound himself to bide the time in suspended animation to attain new followers using Lou's skills and knowledge?)
Or maybe it killed him as well and he just made Lou an aetherial body straight off the bat. I'm speculating again. Either way, we've got a problem on our hands.

This will be the start of a new angsty storyline. The twins may be hesiatent to kill Lou themselves, some of the other scions would be devastated it would the the second darkest hour since Livia's kidnapping of The scions.

And ironicaly it would be Louisoux himslef to snap them out of it. Ether by making it clear he must be killed (Crossing the Moral Event Horizon) or some part of his spirit shows up and encourages them not to doom the world for his sake.

Some ppl think that Bahamut is the reason of why the Allags fall, thats not true. Think on their tecnology, the things we saw on Coil and CT. They coul really fall beacuse of that elder primal? They have ships, lacers. bioweapons, power, etc. Also think on ultima, that weapon acts like a primal prision too, is the solution of the primal treat, with their aether in the weapon they could not be summon never again, and thats the purpose of Dalamuh, keeping Bahamut in his physical form. Also they allags use him as a catalys. So the thing about that bahamut downed the allagns, and in their despair the civilisation imprission ? naahh I dont think so, also I'm agree that Dalamuh's contruction took a time. The allags were still alive long after Dalamuh was finished also I'm sure they had enought power to kill Bahamut, but just like I said they prefer not to do that.

The fall of the Allagans is an interesting topic. Interesting in that we know perhaps nothing about it. Assumptions were made about Bahamut, but this seems unlikely now. It could very well be that their own magics and technology backfired on them, however. Ever since learning that Dalamud is a space ship, my vain hope has been that we will get to go to the True Moon and discover that there are Lunarians - with a third eye! Hah! It is wishful thinking, though. Of the early FF games, 3 and 4 were among the most formative...

I may be leading the discussion on a bunny trail here, but think about it. 3 gives us the Crystal Tower. We see more of The Void which was also a theme in the original FF. The first appearance of SCH and SMN jobs is here. I was going to say that FF3 was the debut of DRG, but a check of Wikia indicates that there was one in FF2 - a game I've been unable to acquire. Several other jobs that many of us would like to see implemented had their first appearance in FF3. The original FF had WHM, BLM, THF = NIN, MNK, and WAR = Knight, which is the forerunner of PLD. FF3's Knight had Cover and Cure. I find it ironic that early incarnations of Dark Knight also had low level white magic, while Cecil's DRK form was the first to have Darkness/Dark Side as an attack that converted your own HP into damage

Something that always amused me is that Paladin was called Knight in Japanese for FF11, SE's first MMO. I had just assumed that Paladin had always been called Knight in the Japanese version, but it seems this is not the case. Also, RDM was one of the initial 6 jobs in the classic FF. May we one day learn the arts of martial magic without being relegated to a support role, condemned to only buffing and debuffing, or, god forbid, made a mana battery most commonly used (forced) for healing. Ahem.

FF4 would bring the Paladin armor design that we associate with the job today, virtues of the job immortalized in the character of Cecil Harvey. FF4 would also give us the most iconic DRG, Kain Highwind, upon whom our DRG armor is based. Kain being incorporated into FF4's logo in the now-classic pose can probably be attributed to his character's complexity. While Cecil and Kain both have redemption arcs, Kain's is far more complex and tragic. Rydia would come to be one of FF's most famous Summoners. Though the FF3 Evoker's armor was partially green, we can probably look to Rydia's outfit for the reason that our SMN AF is entirely green with other colors as accents. Edge would introduce esoteric abilities to the NIN job's repertoire that were not simply low level black magic. I'm hopeful that our NIN's mudras will incorporate some elemental ninjutsu, smoke bomb, and, yes, even utsusemi - which was one of Edge's abilities. Edward was the original spoony bard, pretty ineffective in the original game but given an upgrade in the remake.

But the things we'd really like to see from FF4 were: The Moon. The Lunar Whale. The Giant of Babil, which is of similar design to Alexander. The Giant / Alex fits with both The Garlean and Allagan propensity to build giant magitek monstrosities. The Garlean thing reminds me that Golbez was one of the original heavily armored bad guys whose face we never get to see.

Back on track, I see there being a lot of old Allagan and pre-Allagan things out there. I mean, The Heard of Sabik was all but said to be pre-Allagan, fueling my theory that the Allagans fell into decline by destroying themselves through powers that they couldn't hope to understand. The Ascians are like The Zilart of FFXI in that they like to give dangerous artifacts (The Keys, Secrets of Summoning, Ultima Weapon, Ultima Magic) to people in hope that great destruction would be wrought.

I'd like to see a dungeon where we land on an Airship the size of The Agrias. A scenario where we take out all the Garleans on board for the purpose of stopping an air attack or capturing the ship to sneaking into Garlean territory. This would have to be an instanced dungeon. Not have it be like the Airship boss fight in FFXI, but a full ship with lower decks containing people like engineers and soldiers caught snoozing. Give us plenty of opportunities to fall off the edge of the ship and maybe have us experience turbulence during the operation. Think about it. It would be awesome. We've been told we're getting a workshop to build airships. I'm assuming ours will be Garlond Passenger-Carrier inspired designs, fairly small. Landing on a Garlean dreadnought for the purpose of taking it over would seem like a good use for our little ships.

Also there is another thing, if bahamut did not killed the allags, who was then? Who had enought power to be greater than the allags. Dunno if you guys noticed but the ruins all over Eorzea are only from Dalamuh, nothing else. Crystal Tower was the only Allagan structure on land that survived, all the rest seem like it was obliterated. I think ( sory for spoilers ) that might be an old lead, in the begining of T8 Alisale said, that all those allagan defence systems, were to prevent that the """""ENEMIES"""" of the allagans could set Bahamut free, what enemies? a civilisation so great and powerfull had enemies?
Also something else, those ragnarok starships, why if the survivors just left the planet , when their civilisation was falling? They could have more of those starships, right?

Yeah great and powerful civilizations tend to make enemies out of envy, especially if they keep boasting like Trixie

Rome fell to neglected tribes from the north. It certainly happens.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants had a hand in it, presuming they were poorly treated slaves of the Allag.
