Actually from my testing maim, unchained and berserk all affect flash.

I think the reason why FoF doesnt is because it only increases physical dmg and flash is considered magic even if it doesnt deal dmg.
Which also means it isnt effected by skillspeed but spellspeed.

Isn't it 1/2 unit of enmity generated for every 1 point of healing if target is below full HP, and 1 : 1 if target is full HP (overheal)?

Your type of player are the ones that get vote kicked as well. If for some reason I choose to go as DD, and I'm pulling mobs it's because I feel your moving at a pace that is too slow for the group to handle.

If there are more than 2 mobs you can bet your a$$ i'll be using AoE moves right out the gate. If you purposefully kill others by not performing your role then you deserve a one way ticket out of the dungeon.

Derp. I meant to say Pet. Just started typing and forgot to re-read what I wrote.

I know exactly how threat works. As a tank, your job is to hold hate. If you lose hate for whatever reason, whether a DPS was going all out AoE the second you Tomahawk\Shield Lob, or your just a bad tank, it's still your job to hold hate. Just because a DPS isn't performing correctly doesn't mean I'm going to let them die. I'm still going to do my job and get hate back. By sitting there and watching them your are failing to perform your job.

When I tank, I really don't care if DPS pull extra mobs. If it wipes us then fine..i'll ask them to stop but otherwise it just speeds up the dungeon which is always a good thing. Why does it bother you so much? Is it because they took your leadership role away and hurt your feelings? Someone sounds butt hurt to me.

So now you decide what the Tank/Healer feel they can handle? If you wish to set the pace then I suggest you sign on as the healer. Yes it is the healer that sets the pace. Lesson I had to relearn again just this morning. Never pull faster than your Angel can cast. The Team is only as strong as the weakest link.

Healer/Tank teams can beat any instance (Slow and Steady). DD's are not needed they just make runs a bit faster is all.

Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs

Generally speaking (I know there are always exceptions), the Tank sets the pace of the dungeon. It's the healers and the DPS that determine if he is successful. A good tank will assess his "team" and pull based upon the skill level of the group (notice how I never mentioned gear, although it often plays a large roll). With random PUGS most often the tank can only go based upon the gear of the players he is grouped with, but If you know the people personally then you can make a more accurate assessment based on skill.

I agree that you are only as strong as your weakest link. If the healer can't keep up with heals, be it lack of skill or overload by tank/dps over pulling then the group will fail. But I disagree with regards to the heals setting the pace or that the DPS are "not needed". I would LOVE to see you try to kill any coil dungeon with just tanks and healers.

Slow and Steady will win out in most cases but there are certain instances where its not enough. Tanks will take damage and can only be healed by healers for so long before they run out of MP.

AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY...SE GET RID OF THE DAMN 1000 CHAR LIMIT.

When i let some one die its only that one person i have never caused a wipe doing this they, die the next person on threat list is me or the healer. (if its the healer they covered or i already have threat before they get hit.)Tanking is about controlling the run why should i let a someone who is going out of their way to be disruptive carry on doing so.

If you don't mind people pulling more then that is your preference maybe you should partner up with the leeroy white mage i had in stone vigil low level roullete. He pulled all the mobs from the start up to the 1st room on the left. ( so obvious he wanted to be kicked and acted like an idiot). No i didn't go after him, he was later kicked by the party leader and we went on to do a steady run with no wipes. ( yes i wish it was quicker but no one was max level except me, so i worked with that RNG gave me)

If i got but hurt over wipes then i'm not a good tank(shit happens). Ill let people decide this one would you rather have a tank who goal is to make the run go as well as possible with no wipes( if it can be helped) or Nabian who lets people do BS crap risking more wipes then needed and overall slowing the run down, adding extra stress on healers list goes on.
