    1. Nothing is permanent, but you will have to spend time and focus to change your 100s.
    2. The skill supposedly raises your chance of success and what items are dropped. Whether those items are the impossibly rare crafting materials or just extra commons and crystals is still up in the air.
    3. Many of these rarer items are untradeable, meaning you cannot have a friend with his 100s in another craft break down a rare item for you. Its effectiveness should be seen within the week after the patch launches. As for now, I remain skeptical as it looks more like an excuse to make people grind more

    1. Then the question to be asking is "how many desynths does it take to reach 100.00?" 70 is a different monster than 10,000.
    2. There is a difference in the importance of maxing out something between "50.00 means 50% chance of success with a 5% chance of getting HQ mats/100.00 means a 100% chance of success with a 5% chance of HQ mats" and "35.00 means 100%chance of success with a 5% chance of getting HQ mats/100.00 means a 100% chance of success with a 95% chance of getting HQ mats." The former means you must have 100.00 to do desynthesis. The later means that generalists can desynth everything, but specialists get an advantage when desynthing their specialty.
    3. They give an potential reason for players to revisit old content and it gets called an excuse to grind... I highly doubt that anything that requires desynthesis to make will be mandatory.

I am used to systems like this(ahh, UO) and a lot of people are crying about it, but I do have a few concerns that others have noted.
    1. We do not control how our maximum 300 is shifted.
    2. Whether OR NOT there will be a "Request Desynth" option.
    3. "Fish"? Better fertilizers?
Either way, I plan on maxing Alchemist desynth because no one else will.
