Dead/Bad players and winning loot

i have a question for OP

Are you really that godly God to place yourself above the rest and consider yourself the best of the best ???

someone that is constantly dead isnt necesseraly his or her fault right ?, tank dying because of lack of heals is healer's but since healer didnt die during a run just let others die he or she deserves the loot and the rest not? Who is going to determine who deserves to *live* and to *die* YOU ? who are you to come in here and say something like this ? who you think you are ?...you are a nobody like all of us, you are *just* a player like all of us, to me you are exactly what this community is all about for the most part, you are a sickness that shouldnt be alowed to even open their mouth to sputter non sense.

I thought I had seen it all seems not and you managed to proved me wrong, to me YOU are part of the so many *rotten apple* that pollutes this community with their sense of almithtiness.

Are the ones who, not only get their loot dropped, but are winning the rolls and walking away rewarded. This isn't just some one time thing, I have seen this happen countless times during Coil and Extremes. It's almost as if the system in place checks to see who performed the absolute worst and then proceeds to reward them like the Needs Improvement kids in elementary school who get awards to make them feel better!

Master Loot would be nice and would put a stop to that. People already "reserve" loot in PF, but can we take it a step further?

Karma is a bitch. Master loot would be exploited really hard to prevent the rest of the pt to get anything. And no, it does not solve more than it creates. What you currently experience is "bad luck", which can not be solved. Or it is your personal Karma of being a "bad guy"? who knows.

If you didn't come as the class you want to have the drop from. It is not your calling to forbid anyone to roll on loot.

Just try and tell someone to pass on loot because he acted poorly. I would laugh in your face for that statement.
Want your own rules for loot? Make a group with those rules. Since YOU want to be judge, jury and executioner, nobody in their right mind will join.

If that's the case, I must be an amazing player then because I have absolutely zero luck with drops. Even if it's my drop, I'll roll a 1, and then some other guy who doesn't need it as much as I do, rolls a 99 and runs off into the sunset.

The problem with the Master Looter system being implemented in this game, is that loot is already distributed into a shared pool when the loot drops. Further complicating matters is that the vast majority of loot in this game is Unique and Untradeable, making it impossible for the designated Loot Master to give the loot to someone who has called it once the Loot Master has it. This would cause all new levels of drama that just would not be good.

The system we have in place now works the way it was intended to work, and is infinitely better than the system that was in place in Final Fantasy XI, where everyone could lot on an item, and only the person with the highest number could actually obtain the item (there was no prioritized lotting in that game the way there is in this one, everyone had an equal chance that was determined by RNG).

Point is, they may be useless in your opinion, but if they have the requisite class to need on it, and they successfully rolled high enough to beat all other competition, then as far as the Developers are concerned, it belongs to them.

Master Loot wouldn't be abused anymore that someone joining a PF Group with Loot Reserves. In a Loot Reserve group all it takes is one person to be a dick and the same goes for Master Loot.

Honestly Master Loot works well whenever Ive joined parties with in in other MMOs. Most of the time the loot rules are stated at the beginning of a Raid and agreed upon by all. And if the Master Looter pulls a dick move and gives loot to themselves or FC Mates/Friends contrary to the established rules then you have as much recourse to report them as you do for someone that breaks and agreement with the Loot Reserve Party.

Again MOST Master Looter parties Ive ever joined have been something that was a scheduled event. I remember the Bid Parties we used to have in WoW where you joined a raid and when loot dropped people bid on the items using game currency. And at the end of the Raid everyone got an equal share of the Gil/Gold at the end. Id actually like to see something like that here in this MMO.

I feel like a jerk for saying this, but I am going to quote one of my favorite fan fiction authors here:

Basically it comes out to this: unless you are stating something that can be verified as hard fact (which is outright impossible, not even Scientists claim things as hard undeniable FACT) then you are stating something that amounts to an opinion. And opinions can always be proven wrong in some manner.
