As much as I feel so sorry for the poor girl, does anyone else seem to suspect that this might be yet another example of Ascian meddling? I mean, the last time we see Edda, she's makes a vow to honour Avare's memory and to better herself by returning to her hometown and restart her training as an adventurer by using the player as an example to follow and aspire to be like. Now she's gone completely off the rails and is resorting to necromancy to bring him back?

Although everyone deals with grief of losing a loved one differently, the total reversal of her attitude and apparent emotional defeat in dealing with losing her fiance does seem suspicious to me, especially given most of the events in story dungeons directly or indirectly were revealed to be a result of Ascian machinations (Toto-Rak, Haukke Manor SM, Stone Vigil SM to name a few), so it wouldn't surprise me if Edda really did try to deal with the grief of losing her beloved, only to fall victim to an Ascian who seized on her weakened emotional state and made her a deal too good to be true - a way to bring her beloved Avare back to life, not realizing just what a horrible mistake she was making. Which would make going through this dungeon even more depressing.

Either way, I really hope poor Edda's story has a happy ending that she deserves.
