Had a run with a lancer and monk tonight that I tanked. The fun part was 4 scorps up and no one dps'ing scorps with what felt like fairly low dps from the group as things were dying slow.yeah, i half expected for people to run to me when they get the damn aggro. which they dont....
sucks to run after the healer, who is running away from the other ugly scorpions, while im being run to by the big ugly scorpion while the other dds run after the big ugly scorpion...

What i noticed is that if the group is synched they will most times focus only on boss leaving everything else to their own devises. especially melee classes that have to see the @ss of the boss and dont look anywhere else.
a hussle at most times. a wipe if the healer is not in synch.. or carried![]()

These dps weren't synched, but I wonder if they learned the dungeon that way and didn't think to do it any other. What i noticed is that if the group is synched they will most times focus only on boss leaving everything else to their own devises. especially melee classes that have to see the @ss of the boss and dont look anywhere else.

Not in synch doesnt mean its their first class. maybe they where alting. right click> search info usually tells the tale
But there is the chance of them knowing it only like this, nothing can be disregarded![]()
+1, as DPS, there are dungeons that I run that the tank wants run that way. Concentrate on the boss, ignore the adds, LB when the time comes to finish. As a BRD, my LB is useless as a finishing move, since it is a healer LB, but as a BLM, DRG or MNK, it works great. Either way, especially in some of these low level dungeons, burn on the boss, ignore the adds is something that works very well.
