Untrue, warframe keeps getting updated and there are no expansions for it.
It is true maybe warframe didn't use all there allotted trophies and decided to add them over time.
Edit after doing some research Warframe didnt have any trophies at its release and as I said added them later.http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/...-trophy-guide/

Could you provide a link or something? I've never heard of a game company only having so many slots for achievements. I know a few games have 99 achievements.
So FFXIV ARR has 39 Trophies even if there is a limit of 99, That leaves room for a lot.

Its not the amount that is the limit, its the score that is associated with the trophies that matters. Just like on Xbox, no retail game can have more than 1000 gamerscore unless DLC's add extra achievements (which I believe are capped at 200 possible points). Trophies work in the same regard. You can only have 1000 points of trophies in a PS3 or 4 game with one little twist. The platinum trophy that is awarded for completing all does not count in the 1000 point limitation.
So to your point, yes there can be an Xbox game with 99 achievements. Each of those achievement would only be worth 10 points, however. The trophy point system works like this:
Bronze - 15pts
Silver - 30pts
Gold - 90pts
Platinum - 180pts
So retail PS3-4 games can offer you a total of 1180-1230 (The plat trophy can push the cap just a bit, but almost all games will not combine for more than 1230 without DLC) points towards your PSN trophy level. I am trying to find the link that confirms all of this (I read it before, but it was a very long time ago) but it is evading me. The scoring conversion rate above is sound though. Go ahead and assign those point values to any of your RETAIL games on your trophy list and they should equal the correct amount. Downloadable (non-retail) games don't work by the same rules, and normally don't have 1000 points worth of trophies.

Edit take Back what I said Read the Achievement pages wrong.
But I did find that Gears of war 3 was the first game allowed to break 1750 Achievements for a total of 2000 with DLCs. And games are only allowed to have 250GS per quarter one year after launch.
Also found the info about PS retail games cannot have more than 1230 points before Add ons. The only game I could find with the most trophies is Burnout Paradise 98 for a total of 2355 points. Didn't find any info about how many trophies are per quarter, still looking. As for FFXIV they have 1155 trophy score they could play around with.

You must be buying the combo cheap packs cuz GoW 2 has 2 dlcs and Fallout 3 have some 2.
One of which is a Microsoft first party game, and the other of which is not even true.
Gears of War 2 had 1250 Gamerscore. http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Gears_of_War/Achievements
Fallout 3 has 1550 Gamerscore WITH DLC. http://twinstickgaming.com/2013/05/0...enjoy-playing/
I will use Xbox as an example since playstation system a lil too complicated for some people. Any new game is only allowed to have only 1000 points doesn't matter if 100 10 point achievements or 10 100 points acheivments. Arcade game and small dlc are allowed only 250 points. A true expansion like 3.0 would be allowed depending on size 500 pts or a full fledged 1000. PS4 is similar you can't let 1 game have unlimited points or everyone would be max rated on psn.
