Can we get some better trophy support for PS4?

Seriously, this is quite lacking. With all of the new content in the game, it'd be great if they added some trophies to go along with them. I know that they add in-game achievements but I'd rather work for something more universal. Warframe seems to add new trophy lists all the time.

What is it with trophies in video games? The Achievements that are updated with every patch in this game is enough.

I only care about achievements on xbox so the trophies don't really affect me but on xbox I like to complete games 100% as much as possible. Having said that, it really pisses me off when a game company adds more achievements to a game I completed and then it's not completed anymore, or if I'm in the process of completing it, it just puts me further from my goal. Again this doesn't really affect me kuz I don't care about trophies the same but just for personal oppinion

I'd much rather they focus on other, actually significant, stuff.
If we went down this path, then Steam users would start asking for achievements/badges/cards, etc. as well.

Video game companies are only allowed a certain amount of trophies per game that give points unless you just want trophies that give zero. Other than that . Expansion packs and certain dlc bring more trophies but not patches.

Untrue, warframe keeps getting updated and there are no expansions for it.

I wish they would add some new trophies. Here are some I think should have been added. One for all level 50 DoW/DoM classes, One for all level 50 crafting classes, One for beating all extreme primals, One for Obtaining all Relics, One for Each Beastmen Tribe rank 4, One for Rank 10 Chocobo. There are a lot more they could add but I do feel like those should be in.

Adding trophies would never delay any DLC or Expansion.

Best thing about Trophies/Achievements is it keeps people playing games longer (if you are a completionists). The difference between in-game Achievements that we have in FFXIV and the Trophies are people can't really see them, unless you look on the lodestone, And lots of people want that Trophie/Achievement score to be really high.

It is true maybe warframe didn't use all there allotted trophies and decided to add them over time.

Could you provide a link or something? I've never heard of a game company only having so many slots for achievements. I know a few games have 99 achievements.

So FFXIV ARR has 39 Trophies even if there is a limit of 99, That leaves room for a lot.
