I don't really care how SE calls their dungeons, but the majority of the mmo players uses this word as it is described in wikipedia. They should just invent new words instead of using already existing ones that already have a different meaning(in people's minds).
Not in Japan. And it doesn't really matter what the "majority of MMO players" use the word for. They can adapt to a different meaning for a different game.
