No, mostly because none of that makes any sense. You expected them to say
"Well. the function controlling the spawining of the boss based on the objectives fullfilled could use some tweaking, not to mention our rebalancing of Emulate seems a bit off and we're trying out a new formula. The new planned buyback feature has also been added to this patch, and therefore we included it in our tests, and we also need to fiddle a bit with the setMonsterSize() function so we can make enemies even bigger" ?

Actually I would since I do code and design games, but whatever.
What I actually MEANT was that fine tuning is a pointless reason because we know very well that the people doing fine tuning will be us once the game is out. Regardless of how much testing they do it won't be bugless, we know that much.
But it can be as close to bugless as they can get it, right?Actually I would since I do code and design games, but whatever.

Better to have less bugs. Also, it wasn't only bugs. It was the finishing of content such as finishing the animation for switching from Passive to Active modes while running. If you saw in the AA video, which I'm sure you did, it looked like garbage. They had that and some other things to work out. I for one would be pissed if they released the patch if the animation looked like that.Actually I would since I do code and design games, but whatever.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.

Yeah ok, that was 3 weeks ago though.Better to have less bugs. Also, it wasn't only bugs. Regardless, like I said, it's not this delay that bothers me as much as the fact that they think it's perfectly fine and they will continue to work in this matter at which point they will most likely not reach that famous summer 2011 schedule they talked about.
They are doing what they can with the resources they have. Asking for more will only net you the same results.Yeah ok, that was 3 weeks ago though.

I'm not asking for MORE, I'm asking that they actually keep their promises for once and stick to the schedule THEY gave us.
I would love to see where you guys work and if you delay your assignments for a month and if it's perfectly fine, because it's definitely not for me. They're not working for UNICEF guys it's a freaking business.

I don't think they believe it's perfectly fine, but it's what they have to do in order to prevent complete chaos upon release. In one of the recent Translations from the JP forums, Yoshi-P actually states how frustrated he is that they haven't been able to release the content yet, and that he finally wants to start showing us stuff, but he can't until it's ready. I'm sure it's just as frustrating for the devs as it is for us simply because we keep saying shit like "they aren't doing anything! DEV TEAM SUCKS! I'M SO TIRED OF ALL OF THIS.", which is true, we are tired of it, but I think they want to show us what they are made of, and they will. Just have to wait 13 days.Yeah ok, that was 3 weeks ago though.

It's not pointless, because they want to get rid of as many bugs as possible before releasing it to the public, and let us deal with the few minor things they missed instead of something that could possibly be major.Actually I would since I do code and design games, but whatever.

You seriously want them to release another feature that's as bugged as the entire game was at release? You know what kind of impact that would have on an already-angry community? Are you some kind of masochist?
Seriously, some logic from the community from time to time would be nice.
