Seriousely, since these forums started there have been tons of brilliant ideas for new contents and features, before they announced they were gonna do everything from scratch people were posting walls of text analyzing the current system, saying where it works and where it's broken and with awesome suggestions on how to fix it.
Did they even take those things into account? No, they decided to scrap everything and ignored all of the ideas and the constructive criticism they asked for. Not one single thing that players said have been considered (except for the rank10 people saying they were tired of spamming 1 pff >.>)
So after we got to care and we put effort too into the future of this game you can't blame us if now all we have to say is that they're doing an awful job.

Just a short post about when they're going to get 1.18 out. Nothing else to the letter, no nice tidbits about what's possible in the future summer plans?

I think we could have just seen a basic Lodestone post about the patch date and it wouldn't be too much different.

I like the big "fuck you" to all the babies that are whining about the word raid.

I honestly can't say I'm even slightly excited for this patch anymore. I don't mean to be impatient, but this patch was supposed to be released in mid-late June, and that was announced after the earthquake I believe, however if I'm wrong please correct me. However, even after the first delay he then said the patch would be released mid-July, which we all know is once again not true. I'll try to keep my hopes up, but I'm not sure how much SE can accomplish by the end of the summer and make it a game worth playing before it's too late. This game is almost a year old already, and though changes have been made, to the majority of people who aren't playing this game it still looks like the broken, badly coded, contentless game that came out in September.

But... But... The monsters are BIGGER!

Not all of the complaing is justified, but no matter how you look at it, they're failing at keeping the majority of the customer-base happy and I'd say that's a pretty serious issue.

In fact my server is almost empty. They have to speed up cause until now they are doing an awful job.

this gets a big meh.

so it took them a little over 3 months to get this patch done, yet they plan to have that huge list done by the end of September? Heck, we probably wont even see 1.19 until after September at this rate.

Unless this battle fix really does suddenly make everything so easy for them (along with tons of sh*t coding problems are taken care of) then your probably right. I keep hearing about all this "the code is making it hard" crap for how long now?
