Why exclude people from Chocobo raising?

Honestly, I'm ok with certain content being restricted to those in an fc.

As others have said. if you want to do this content so badly go and make an fc. I've seen several one man FC's on Goblin and they do just fine.

However, it appears that there may be a way in the future for those who are not in a free company to be able to get to this content.
So what's the big deal?

Thank you Camate, but I think we require a little more information. The even bigger issue here is the fact no one has addressed the number of chocobos we will be allowed to raise in the stables. I understand it was stated "one, for now" in the live letter, but that fails to explain whether it's "one per FC member, with a max of 8* members' chocobos being raised at any given time" or "one chocobo at a time per FC, and the FC must decide the order in which its members chocobos will be raised".

Please clarify as this information is crucial for players to have before this content is released. Thank you!

A30: Since this is for companions, just one for now. We are planning to expand content in phases, and in the future when the Gold*ahem* and the Chocobo*ahem* are implemented, you’ll be able to raise more.

Sorry, need all the gil i can get for buying stupid materia to upgrade Novus...

heres the problem with a lot of people lol....

1. people complain about not having an FC....well join or make one. This game is better when played with friends, imo.
2. people complain that houses are too expensive and don't want to put in any effort to get one.
3. people complain that they need gil to "buy materia" for novus when they could just spiritbond and save a bunch of gil.

smh, you instant gratification crowd need to just go away. Anything of value takes time and effort unless you are extremely rich and if you're complaining about 2 and 3, I have a feeling you might not be.

Why would you even think the house would support a limited number? It will work the same way with 1 stable usable by every single player at the same time. Any and all limitations like you suggested would be entirely unrealistic.

One word - garden. Unless you know what nobody else does we can assume based on the statement from Yoshi about having chocobo stables at your "garden" (hopefully that's just a bit loose translation and means yard / outside area of the FC house) it could be very well limited and even depending on the size of the plot / house. So the question about numbers here is quite valid. I'd imagine (at that's just example, no official numbers) that each estate will be limited to ONE chocobo stable with different sizes / amount of "cots" - lets say 4, 6 and 8 for small, medium and large plot respectivelly. While this is my "guess" against yours it's as well (if not more) realistic as yours.

I would like to mention that, expecting to solo (soloable) doesn't means not playing with others, as YoishiP mentioned explicitly,
players can treat other random PC in content as a NPC with real life. It is a good idea, it is what RPG should be.
