Delays are, unfortunately, sometimes nessecary, and inevitable. Not just in video game making, but everywhere.

People are crying in this thread because he covered his bases and said "July 21st. OR, depending on if we think it needs more balancing, the 22nd. Probably. Maybe the 23rd."

Instead of "July 21st. Definately. No more delays. This patch." And if it got delayed mass hysteria on the forums.

You need to learn to chill out.
I agree, though I don't think Colino is complaining as much as others in this thread, but just saying that people have a right to complain, which is also right.

The only issue I take with it is that people will complain about EVERYTHING. Delays happen in the video game market everyday. The only difference here is that SE is keeping their servers live while they test and implement new content. People have this funny idea that Yoshi-P and the developers are sitting on their hands or twiddling their thumbs or something, which is positively absurd.

Regardless of how fast ANYONE thinks the dev team SHOULD be working, the fact of the matter is they are working as fast as they can with the resources they have been given. If you doubt that, then you really don't know much about the corporate world. Being that the launch was a fiscal failure for the company and that one dev team has already been swapped out shows that the company is serious about fixing this game. If not, why not scrap it all together? On top of that, with the project already off to a bad start, I guarantee that the higher ups are looking for marked progress.

The team is doing the best they can as fast as they can.
