Atma is a walk in the park compared to Novus. If atma is too much for you, then you don't want to know about Novus. MMOs are designed to have content that allows players to play for a long time. If you want something short and sweet, either play single player games or online shooters like COD.

That said, once you've got Atma the 'grind' does become at least a little more interesting (myth notwithstanding) rather than mindlessly spamming the same low level, no-reward Fates you've been getting tired of since level 30.

IMO atma is the worst part of the quest because it's a 1%based RNG and you can spend several hours/days/week making 0progress.
atma can take longer than brayfarming your 1500*9 tomes.
