    No, you really can't. You can't log into the same account from two different clients. Doesn't matter which data center the characters are on, you still have to log into the account before you can even choose a character and as soon as someone logs into the same account one or both of two things may happen. One; the second login will fail and two; the first login will be disconnected. This is what happened when you tried it in XI, I can see it happening in XIV. Sadly, I don't see Square shifting a character to another account. There's too much potential for abuse if you were to get your account hacked. The person hacking the account could just split off your character leaving you with an empty account.

    I asked the same question awhile back. I would like to move a character to another account under the same SE ID, so I can multibox with it, but I never got a reply. I sort of assumed I asked an unreasonable question at that point.

    In theory it should be doable by making the changes in the database, but it may just be a can of worms they don't want to open.
