Splitting an account

Is there a way to split 1 account into 2 accounts? Basically I have an account that my girlfriend and myself both have a character on. What we are wanting to do is split the account so that character "A" is on account 1 and character "B" would be on the new account 2.

Here are the ToS about that, under "Prohibited Activities"

3.1 Sharing Account Information. You may not share your account or login information (such as your Square Enix ID and password) with anyone except your legal guardian, your minor child, or Square Enix. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login information, even from your friends and family. If you violate this provision, you may unexpectedly lose access to your account to a third party without recourse against Square Enix. Square Enix will not be obliged to credit your Square Enix Account with Crysta or other points or awards, which may have been used by a third party as a result of the violation of this clause.

Though it's not that harmful to the company, I don't see them transferring any character to an other account as it was illegal in the first place. They shouldn't take actions against you though, as you aren't trying to abuse the system.

I doubt they will let you do this as people could then do this to sell characters

there is no way to split a character that is shared under 1 SquEnix ID.... Stop progressing, get a 2nd copy and start over sucks, but thats all you can do....
The real question is.... who is making who start over?!

It's against TOS with sharing your account to someone who is THIRD PARTY, ie RMT as you could lost your SE account. Read that carefully and make the assumption they are meaning sharing your account to someone you DO NOT know. I don't think it is against TOS to share the account with someone such as a girlfriend or boyfriend. I'm wanting to do the same thing and have my girlfriend play on my account with me, and I was wanting to split the login so she could make a character to play with me while on the same account. I guess that's out of the question as you do have to make a separate account, then.

You can have multiple game account registered under a single SE account and if that's the case, i see nothing wrong moving character beetween game accounts registered under the same SE account. But except few legit boxer i don't think that can interest much people. (it still possible on some game like wow who allow moving characters beetween accounts registerd with the same name)
And sharing account with GF is not allowed by TOS.
