Im pretty sure someone else has thought of this before. But no one showed me, so Im proud of figuring this out on my own lol. I main SCH and was leveling WHM for stoneskin when i discovered this.

    Any other WHM do this?
Please no. Fluid Aura should be a panic button. If something is hitting you, by all means Fluid Aura it. If everything is going fine and every mob is on the tank the way it should be, don't ruin that. Pushing mobs off tanks prevents us from using Flash and other AoE's on them. Odds are even on whether that mob goes for you or the tank when it wakes up if they don't chase it down, so they basically have to reposition everything. If you have melee dps, they're completely gimped during the few seconds the tank is dragging the mobs around. So no. Don't do this.

Depends on what the healer is looking to do. If you want to dps but your tank doesn't manage cooldowns well or isn't geared great, sleeping mobs is damage mitigation. This lets the healer freely dps with only having to worry about one mob's damage at a time. This becomes less necessary when you have an efficient tank or once you've acquired divine seal + regen, but is still a viable backup for tanks that have problems managing hate or incoming damage.

On the other hand, if the healer isn't going to dps, sleep is pretty much useless since no crowd control is necessary in dungeons.

Remember those good ol' amdapor keep days when the tank decides to be a badass and tank a mob + a dullahan ?
That surprise iron justice Hitting you for over 3k. I remember those days lol cuz i see it often with tanks lol. Just cuz they have a healer on standby doesn't mean they should eat a cone like that cuz when a succubus decides to hit the tank with thunder right after that iron justice is just too lol wtf.
I rather piss off the tank with fluid aura then to have a dead party.
Cuz when push comes to shove i see that i need to protect my 2 dpsers more than the tank.
Tbh most dungeons don't need a tank till you get to bosses or so.
Fluid aura is for my safety and for others.

If your tank is dying to one mob + a Dullahan, Fluid Aura isn't gonna help. You'd have to have either terrible gear or a terrible healer to die to that under normal circumstances. Facetanking a cone AoE like you mentioned isn't "normal circumstances" though; that's just plain stupid and you really can't help stupid. I do huge pulls in AK and I never have any problems dodging Iron Justice even with 2-3 Dullahans in a group.

I think the next time a WHM randomly Fluid Auras a mob off me, I'm just not going to go get it. I'm going to tank the rest of what I've got and let it wake up on its own and go hit the WHM, since tanks aren't needed or anything. :P

Well... You can use that combo in Brayflox HM. Just right before the 1st boss fight, where the tank usually trap 2 mobs outside. You can push "poison plant" away and then cast sleep. Btw, that push has the ability to cancel mobs AoE attacks so, you can interrupt their casting this way. If your tank is close to a wall, just push any mobs to that direction and successfully interrupt casting. Your idea is not false darklord, just need to find smart use of it
Keep coming up with new stuff.

    @ ash
    You need to understand that
Most players that run AK nowadays are either fresh, need it for gc , book or for some reason gear.
3/4 times it'll be fresh AF i50 ish geared players as all of the "pros" have no more use for AK thus never running it again.
That's you and this is them, as a healer; i have to put up with it and compensate in order to garuntee we clear the dungeon.
So i'll repose, fluid aura, dps whatever i see fit that will ultimately help out the issues with the group.
