I ordered a pre-paid debit just to pay for the sub. I load it with the amount I need and I pay the sub right away. That way my account is back at $0 and I don't need to worry about someone stealing my monis.

that would work if there wasnt a cap on how much crysta you could have on your account at any one point in time.

I will hog this thread and ask: People in PAL Region (EU/Middle East), if your credit cards aren't accepted by SE, what are your payment alternatives? I use time cards for my sub but I still can't find a way to pay for other stuff (retainers, possible server transfers etc). If someone has way please tell <3

I have a debit card, but because I live in the UK it is not accepted. I could buy Game Time Cards to pay for my sub, but they only come in 2 month options, and I wouldn't be able to purchase any optional services

Is it not a VISA debit card then? Because no issues using one since 2006 for FFXI here and I also live in the UK.

I have one. I just don't like SE's less than reliable system and my less than reliable income atm.

Just turn off automatic billing and then manually turn it on each month.

How do people not have a debit card in 2014?

some people dont trust putting their CC info out there. some people are on fixed budgets. some people arent even old enough to have a bank account. these people all still have a right play and SE should have at least acknowledged this was going to happen.

When this happens, if anything happens, as long as you Are not oblivious and report any weird charges ASAP or close your old card you are fine.

as a ironic note, the hackers are usually the best at making security.

OMG i can't belive this thread has got so much attention from the Trolls....prolly out of sheer bordom. Listen folks It's easy to pay the subsciption. Get a temp credit card and if your not old enough ask mommy and daddy to pay for you. They should be monitoring what your doing online anyways. #EnuffSaid

Anyways, I for one, also don't like using CC just for these. More risky & I want to control my own expenses.
