If you don't want to use your own debit card, and you dont wish to use the game time cards (As Legacy players would not be getting their discount) then you could always use a prepaid Visa Card, Just load it up with how ever much money you want to and then go use it like a credit card. Put $30 on and buy crysta or something.

edit: I used this when i was 14 to play FFXI, I'd put my pocket money on every week so that i could pay for the game each month. The only details of mine it had was my name on the front and what ever money i chose to put in it.

I'll probably end up using debit, but honestly if you are younger anf unelligible for a CC then you kind of ran out of options in a sense.
Forgot how hard it was to give SE my money after i saw some errors last time i tried paying via a card.

When this happens, if anything happens, as long as you Are not oblivious and report any weird charges ASAP or close your old card you are fine.

prepay credit cards? get one, put some money on it, use it. safe enough, someone gets the info? they can only get what's on there. I know it's 'jumping through hoops' but put what you need on there for the sub when its time, use it. no other money on there means nothing for anyone to take I'd that were to happen.

I've been using services like UGC for a while because instances like this have been happening with SE's methods since FFXI, and it seems they still do. Being a legacy member, SE's time cards aren't a good option either because it supersedes the discount, this method also wouldn't work for people that pay an additional fee for extra retainers.

Actually I find arguing about underage to be odd as well.

If your underage to get your own debit card you are most likely underage to play the game according to ToS.

I have one. I just don't like SE's less than reliable system and my less than reliable income atm.

I want a game card but I don't want to buy a game card off Amazon. Half the stuff I get from Amazon gets lost in the mail. I do business with GameStop as there are three stores in my city. Baring them there are also three Wal-marts, three Meijers, a Toys R Us and a Target. All of which sell cheap sleezy f2p game cards by the truck load. I would also like SE to address this issue. I live in the USA.

OMG i can't belive this thread has got so much attention from the Trolls....prolly out of sheer bordom. Listen folks It's easy to pay the subsciption. Get a temp credit card and if your not old enough ask mommy and daddy to pay for you. They should be monitoring what your doing online anyways. #EnuffSaid

How about them FFXIV pre-paid cards?

Legacy players get ****ed over by that. Cost is higher than what we normally pay per month if we purchase the official time cards.
