Pre-paid debit cards are your friend then. Just put the money you want to spend on your sub on the card to load it. I googled it and came up with a ton of results. I don't know where everyone lives country wise but near me you can buy and load them at the Seven Eleven around the corner.

The point is we shouldn't have to jump through hoops to pay for a service. If you make it difficult to pay...consumers aren't going to pay.. They're going to find another game that lets them pay with the option they want. In any case, for those old enough to get a CC you can just get an online CC and ask for a very low limit and just use it to pay for XIV and any other game costs like Xbox LIVE. Risk is fairly minimal as even if someone snagged your info they could only screw you up to your limit.

We have differing definitions of difficult then. I found UGC to be an extremely convoluted way to pay. Pre-paid debit is as well, but if for some reason you can't get a regular cc or debit to work or are underage it's your best option. Actually I find arguing about underage to be odd as well. As a parent if my daughter wanted to play when she's old enough she would be paying me and I'd pay with my card so that I had a better idea about what she was doing and spending money on.

If your underage to get your own debit card you are most likely underage to play the game according to ToS.
