Patch 1.18 release date now looking grim for july??

In all reality though, saying what he had planned for the game shortly before the polls went live does not have any connection (I think).

There's a difference between saying something is planned and posting complete and detailed descriptions on the lodestone. You know for how long the Grand Company page has been live? It talks in fairly decent detail what grand companies are supposed to do and what players can gain from them... Since then they have not been mentioned ONCE, I mean never. Not in a producer's letter, not in a community rep post, nothing.

That's just one of several things that were promised and planned out, only to disappear into nothing.

Look, I want the game to succeed as well. Why else would I be playing it for over a year now including alpha and beta? Hell, I even bought the max amount of crysta I could once the game was out so I could get the best deal. Fully aware that I was gonna play at least for another year.

The fact of the matter is that if you were around for longer you'd be more understanding of what I'm saying.

And yes the Easter event was much better than others. That's not saying much because every event before that was just interacting with some bells to get crafting items and creating unique gear that you could find in the marketwards the next day for 10k gil or less.
