Oh and in the opening movie, are we EVER gonna hear what the Roe PLD is saying to the group as they arrive in the future?!? It's nothing major, but the fact that he clearly talks, and we hear NOTHING, drives me batty!!!

I thought it was pretty clear to see the roegadyn PLD said to Derplander "Are you alright?", as his mouth movements definitely fit that phrase. Or maybe I'm just good at lipreading.

His mouth only moves twice, IIRC.

My lipreading skillz think he's saying "Now what?" Which seems to make sense, given what just happened to them. (I'm still not sure where those Chocobos came from, though.)

I always assumed he said "Were back?"

To me it always looked like he was saying "Are you ok?" and Derplander as he's apparently known nods as if to say "Yeah."

Can you hear him?...I'm guessing not. It's pretty open to speculation if you ask me. :P Though that's probably correct.

It looks to me like he's saying 'we're allright', as a statement, rather than a question, though I could see 'you allright?', as well.

This may well be true, but 'daijoubu' would reasonably fit the same lip-sync, and mean exactly the same thing (in fact, that was my initial reading of it, since I do actually play with the Japanese voices turned on).


As for the screenshot, I always assumed it was the burning wall, but I haven't seriously compared them to see...
