Or their chocobos knew the exact spot that they will be teleported to and stood there doing chocobo stuff while they waited. They are the all seeing and all knowing.

Lip reading real people is highly inaccurate and they are making little facial movements. I don't think you can know what the npcs were actually saying.
I always assumed he said "Were back?"
Ummm guys... he's probably speaking Japanese.
It looks to me like he's saying 'we're allright', as a statement, rather than a question, though I could see 'you allright?', as well.
This may well be true, but 'daijoubu' would reasonably fit the same lip-sync, and mean exactly the same thing (in fact, that was my initial reading of it, since I do actually play with the Japanese voices turned on).
As for the screenshot, I always assumed it was the burning wall, but I haven't seriously compared them to see...
I still want Fern's input on this.... and lots of other areas! I wanna learn just how far Dalamud fragments really went! When Bahamut is fully released, all the coils on the sides, and upper parts of Dalamud, can still be seen racing along the horizon, after he flies away.... those bad boys had to have traveled like thousands of miles!
It's possible that not all of Coerthas is covered in snow. Certainly the Central and I would imagine the Western sides are currently undergoing a permanent winter type effect, but Coethras was massive in 1.0, having a Central, Western, Eastern, Northern and Southern area. It's possible that while some of the landmass is effected by the presence of (possibly, no confirmation this is true) Shiva who may be inhabiting the Western side of Coerthas, the other areas to the South, East and Northern edges may still be green.
My personal guess is that the Southern is going to be more desolate, being in closer proximity to Mor Dhona and Thanalan after the awakening of Bahamut, that area likely got tore apart. The Eastern side may still be green, as close as it is to the Shroud and there's no winter effects there. Though that part of the Shroud, next to Fallgourd Float was torn apart by the Calamity as well, so it may not be quite so green anymore. The only section that was far enough away from the awakening of Bahamut that we currently don't have access to is the Northern (North-East in 1.0) end of Coerthas.
Yeah, and again, when you come over the hill near Ishgard on a dark night, you can see the wall of snowcloak glow with this REALLY brilliant blue.... my guess is Shiva is behind there, and it will be melting soon. I'm of the same mindset though, I think only a bit of Coerthas is snow covered, due to the aether, and Shiva. My personal guess is that the Southern is going to be more desolate, being in closer proximity to Mor Dhona and Thanalan after the awakening of Bahamut, that area likely got tore apart.
