RMT affects every game that is popular enough to get people to buy their gil. You can't ever completely get rid of it, just mitigate it best you can. SE does thorough investigations from the reports they receive from the spammers and try to trace back any shifty gil transfers so that they can ban as many of they can. As posted in an earlier screenshot, they're banning people on a weekly basis.
exaggeration is not fallacy when there is truth behind it, SE has a neighborhood watch system in place and you them to
police everything themselves. You believe SE should take Developers and have them police the game even thought that isn't there job.
they have nothing to do with that part of the game, just has the GM's have nothing to do with Development.
I love your claim to win a non-existing debate with argument from fallacy. :: SlowClap.
There's not much more you can say than this. Wanting an "RMT Police Officer" or whatever is excessive. We're talking about timeframes for people's jobs there.RMT affects every game that is popular enough to get people to buy their gil. Besides, RMT isn't illegal. If it were, this would be a bit easier to solve across all games, and even then, it gets a bit more hairy unless it is illegal in all countries. I think there are other games that have it much, much worse than what I've seen here.

Both horrible ideas. This game's community is already anti-social enough.1. Option in the settings to chosse from whom you can receive the tells: anyone / friend & FC only / players you've sent tell to "recently" (in current session) / noone
2. Possibility to to set your own local dictionary based chat filter so you can filter out the most obvious crap or stuf you're not interested into - e.g. not only RMT but some of the LFG, LFM, ATMA, crafter's shout and so on.
in 25+ years off mmo's nobody has stopped RMT. you can slow it down and usually burden your player base in the process.
SE is not going to come up with some silver bullet to stop it. Your argument is to stop development on area's of the game that
you personally don't like to pour more resource in to hole that will never be filled in the first place. you may not like some areas
of the game but people had been asking for this stuff, SE is trying to deliver.
implying supposition where there is none, then going ad hominem does not improve your argument.
lulz. There are more posts calling for a solution to RMT issues than there are about adding new hairstyles or about pvp. Fact. Who asked for transmutation? No one.
And you're exaggerating again, so that's another loss.
/end
No nobody is asking for any of this stuff, Don't feel like going back to the last letter for the question for improving crafting.
Here's some hair stuff from just the first page of the coming live letter.

The only way to eliminate RMT is to make it unprofitable.
SE could easily sell a game-time item on their website that people can sell for gil in the game so that folks will have a way to get gil with real money without paying the RMT people.
If it's not profitable, they won't sell gil anymore.
