Only until the first expansion pack. Then it is midcontent with level-sync and your level 60 ilevel 200 gear get synched down

I apologize if I misunderstand what you're saying - but are you saying that if you die enough to see the echo that the content should be nerfed because it's too difficult? I completely disagree. A boss should kill your party on your first try. If it doesn't - then the boss is too easy. Part of the fun of a game is to learn from your mistakes and get better. I agree that there are many bosses that are too difficulty that players won't ever complete them. Those I can see the justification for a nerf down the line. But simply dying to a boss and getting the echo should not indicate that the nerf belongs. Many players want to figure out how to beat the boss without assistance.

Other than the twister nerf that was a godsend to more FCs then one that occurred within the first few months, the only thing I recall being nerfed since it has been DFable was the paralysis from ADSs. What has nerfed Coil 1 the most is the significantly better gear people can now walk into it with in conjunction with the echo.
I'm a casual player and I have been with groups of people that still wipe even with content nerfs/buffs and high ilvl, So I for one am thankful for these nerfs/buffs as all that matters to me is being abel to experience and clear it even if I don't go back to it.

So basically you're telling me that I'm an elitist because I think that I-level 110 gear does not belong in level 50 hard mode / expert dungeons, chimera, hydra, crystal tower, HM primals battles? These are battles that were tuned to be "fun" and not difficult to begin with (with the possible exception of Titan HM). The more nerfs that are added and the greater the i-level cap rises, the less fun these particular content activities become and the longer brand new players / casual players have to sludge through to get to fun challenging content.

They have also given us alternate ways to catch up and will likely continue doing so. The nerfs allow catching up at a reasonable rate to access current challenging content. It's an MMO so you will need to invest some time in the game if you have fallen behind.. Plain and simple. So basically you're telling me that I'm an elitist because I think that I-level 110 gear does not belong in level 50 hard mode / expert dungeons, chimera, hydra, crystal tower, HM primals battles? You use the word "still" before wipe as it is surprising. Then you say that all that matters to you is being able to clear the content. If majority of players are like you - then I give up. Not that there's anything wrong with it - but jeeze - what happened to working for reward? I'm optimistic that most players still want challenge in their game and care more about a game than seeing everything cleared.

Less fun for the better geared you mean? Even when they were released the difficulty and fun were in question for those that already over-geared it. The longer the game goes on the more catch-ups that will be introduced to where a fresh 50 wont even have to sludge through those dungeons etc. Most early end game dungeons like WP and AK already serve very little purpose for fresh AF playersSo basically you're telling me that I'm an elitist because I think that I-level 110 gear does not belong in level 50 hard mode / expert dungeons, chimera, hydra, crystal tower, HM primals battles? It's basically to allow you to catch up faster as well as to compensate for the fact that significantly fewer players will be running old content (especially the players that are experienced and skilled since they're doing the new content). It might be a little soon to do it, but the timing doesn't bother me. Eventually there will be loads of things to do between attaining level 50 and reaching any current endgame areas. Not having any buff (or nerf) in place would draw out the content for a lot longer when really at that phase players will be completing this content simply to get past it, not farming it for good gear (since it won't drop anything that's considered good anymore). Maybe they should have waited for the EX fights to be 6 months old like Coil instead of 3, but it seems fine to me.
