I'd rather wait for CT2 > SCoB progression and hope the community is more tolerable or put up with SCoB when it goes to duty finder.
Most likely the longer you wait, the less tolerable PF will be, because more and more people will be looking for experienced people. Happens for every single instances in the game. Unless you're going to wait out for Echo when the third coil is released.

Your best bet will be a static. Most PF parties are kinda trashy I'd agree. But again this isn't a reason to support removing gear gating. Best gears are still to be gated behind the toughest instances for me.

I'm be just saying this again - if a mechanic allows ample time to react, it is not zero tolerance. Most mechanic, if not handled correctly, can cause deaths and wipes anyways (heck, even things like the bees in Sunken Temple of Quarn are wipe mechanics if you ignored it but it is not zero tolerance cos you have way enough time to handle it). It's just how much margin of error it can tolerate, and thus the word tolerance. If you said zero tolerance it means there can be no margin of error. Most of CT mechanics are not zero tolerance because it doesn't instantly cause a wipe like Cursed Shriek on T7 and it can be easily recovered. Similarly, Landslide have lesser tolerance than Weigh of the Land because Weigh just causes death which can be raised/resurrected, but landslide is a bye bye if you fell down the platform.
